International Functions

Action Alert File

An automatic action file provides alert notices to assure that each move is handled in a consistent, thorough manner. this feature consists of a series of standard, time sensitive activities based on your specific operation, which alert the responsible individual, at the appropriate time of an impending action, including target and actual dates. This assures that key personnel are kept "on top of the situation", no required action is overlooked. When an action has been completed, based upon a key date, the system automatically updates the action alert list so that the coordinator is not bothered by a task that is already complete.

Transit Management

Surface Component

The surface component tracks general information, steamship line assignment, container data, contents and pieces within the container, directions, tracking dates and data, and the surface events that must be tracked for a shipment.

Air Transit Component

The air transit component tracks general information, airline and airline flight assignments, air freight data, contents, warehouse pieces, tracking data, directions, and events that must be tracked for a shipment.

Automobile Transit Component

The automobile transit component tracks general information, directions, tracking data, specialized car data, and events that must be tracked for a shipment.

Reciprocity Management Program

Keeps statistics on tonnage reciprocity for each agent, by month, for the current year and the prior year. The system automatically maintains this data, providing it on various forms, by agent, by agent/country, and for desired periods. Reports are provided in various forms to meet your needs at any given time.

Country File

The Country file maintains information on desired countries about: currency, exchange rate, telephone country code, and major cities. Time is displayed on-line up to the minute for each country. Information is provided on container size limitations and restrictions. Reports by country and U.N. country code are provided.

International Agents

The International Agents file maintains association affiliation information with the various agents with which you do business. It provides data relative to them - their currency and dollar conversion, contacts, contract and accounting information, container specifications, association affiliation, tonnage reciprocity by month for the current and prior year, and revenue sharing notes. Provides name, code, and detailed reports.

Steamship Lines File

Maintains a Steamship Line file which includes scheduling, booking, and accounting contact information, port contacts with directions for multiple pier activity locations, and contract data and expiration. Various reports are provided.

Airline File

The Airline file contains the various airlines you use in the conduct on international cargo movement. It provides contact information, addresses, and terminal information, schedule, booking, and accounting contact. It also includes prior and current year tonnage for each agent. In addition, the Airline file includes directions to terminals and other pertinent locations, contract data and expiration, and reports.
