MoveTrac^TM - for the Moving Industry

Overview

MoveTrac^TM is a big, powerful, and "smart" system for computerizing the total operations of a Moving and Storage company.  It is easy to learn, easy to implement, and easy to use.

It reduces operational and overhead costs, increases sales closing ratios and productivity of sales reps, and reduces overhead costs.  It maximizes use of vehicles and crews.  Paperwork is reduced, schedule reliability is increased, customer inquiries are responded to immediately by anyone with access to a terminal.

MoveTrac^TM is fully menu-driven.  It is user-friendly and provides help throughout.  It uses free-form data entry screens - the operator can enter data in any order as needed.  Windows are popped open whenever data is needed in a field, to lookup the information from underlying databases.  The system increases sales closing ratios, minimizes losses due to oversight and errors, tightens controls on storage, and increases billings.

The system consists of several modules that work together to manage the entire business operation from lead to delivery and collection.

Base Module

The MoveTrac^TM base module contains the job order database and all the subsidiary databases that are at the heart of MoveTrac^TM.  This module provides the tools to control, schedule, document, and manage all daily activities for a moving and storage operation.

LeadTrac^TM

The LeadTrac^TM module contains all the tools needed to manage moving and storage sales and sales personnel.  Beginning with the first phone call from a prospect until the job is booked, the lead is tracked in order to assure higher closing ratios.  It enables the Sales Manager to assign sales reps for surveys.  The LeadTrac^TM Action Plan assures that each phase of the sales cycle has follow up in a timely manner.  LeadTrac^TM reports enable management to fine-tune the entire sales program.

Dispatch

The Dispatch Module stores and handles all booked jobs, and manages them regardless of how far in the future their deliveries are scheduled.  It also stores completed jobs until archived or purged, for an unlimited period in the past.  The Dispatch Module allows the dispatcher to schedule multiple jobs on one truck, one job on multiple trucks on multiple days, or any combination of these variations.

Warehouse Operations

The Warehouse Operations Module manages all the operations of one or more warehouses.  It provides for multiple warehouses one site or multiple warehouses at multiple sites.  MoveTrac^TM addresses all warehousing tasks, from receiving shipments at the loading dock to placing  goods into long-term storage, to pulling storage lots in preparation for delivery.  It handles a variety of pallets and containers, and can store information on the contents of each.  It handles an unlimited amount of storage information, both past and future.  It allows warehousemen to receive goods, even if a job order does not exist.  It has broad search capabilities, and can hook lost pieces up with proper jobs as well as find pieces improperly stored.

International Operations Module

The International Operations Module handles an unlimited number of international job orders, for an unlimited period of time, which allows for an indefinite storage time, dependant on hard disk capacity.  Whenever work is entered or updated, results are instantly provided for everyone to see as changes are made.  There is no waiting for posting, data input, or computer operators.  The Module handles break-bulk and container load shipments, and manages air freight components of shipments.

Letter Module

A revolutionary easy to use Letters Module allows the user the ability to use any field within the MoveTrac^TM system to construct form letters.  Data entry is keyed similar to a word processor, but utilizes the power of a report writer.  Any letter or report layout can be viewed before printing.  From the job order menu, the user can print any number of letters or reports by pressing a single key.

MoveBill^TM

MoveBill^TM is the only moving and storage system designed specifically to meet your unique requirements.  It generates invoices and related reports for charges in all of moving and storage operations.  This system can be used as a stand-alone application, or in conjunction with the STN moving and storage Warehouse Management system, MoveTrac^TM.  The MoveBill^TM System fully automates the billing of services of a moving and storage operation.
