Time
Sheet Module
Overview
The Time Sheet Module replaces manual timekeeping
records by providing computerized time reporting by shop, for each
worker in the crew. A paper trail is maintained as well as the
computerized data. A document for each shop for each day can
carry the signatures of each employee as well as the supervisor.
The time sheets are created by the personnel
department using masters and cloning to create daily time sheets for
each shop. They are then printed in the work control center
for distribution to each supervisor. Each worker signs off on
a daily hard copy. The module stores the daily time worked for
each employee, as well as the days of the week each works.
These are used to track and verify overtime and to print the proper
daily time sheets. The daily time sheet is turned in to the
work controller with each day's work orders. If there are no
changes, the work controller needs only to flag the time sheet as
complete.
The Time Sheet Module provides an easy-to-maintain
daily time sheet entry. If there are any variations from the
original printed time sheet, the work controller simply modifies the
work times before flagging as complete. If there are permanent
changes, the personnel department simply modifies the master time
sheet before cloning. Shift, overtime, double, and holiday pay
are easily accounted for within the Time Sheet Module.
